Support Acts

Carrie Martin
Carrie Martin, singer/songwriter/guitarist from Hull, returned to music after a 20yr break encouraged by none other than the noted acoustic guitarist Gordon Giltrap. She cites her meeting him as the most important thing that has happened to her in her musical career. Her guitar playing attracted sufficient attention for her to be recruited as an endorsee by 'Vintage' guitars and Carrie is now also a 'Fylde' guitar player. Influenced by Eva Cassidy and Ann Wilson from Heart, her writing and performing style nevertheless defies categorisation. Her last album, "What If" featured guest appearances from Gordon Giltrap, Oliver Wakeman and Ric Sanders and had glowing reviews from all quarters, including Acoustic mag, Rock n’ Reel and Classic Rock Society.

A pleasing purity in her vocals.” - Trevor Raggett, R2 Magazine

Blair Dunlop
Blair Dunlop, the award-winning British singer, songwriter and guitarist, has now released 3 albums 2 ep’s and toured widely around the globe. All of this in a short 4-year career is astounding alone but what sets Blair apart from his peers is the lyrical and musical maturity with which he writes.

Sam Arkut
Sam Arkut is a singer, songwriter and acoustic finger-style guitarist from Anlaby in East Riding of Yorkshire, near Hull. Widely regarded as an exceptional musician, Sam is gaining a strong following due to his beautifully crafted songs and his playing style, combining tapping, harmonics and playing percussion in a unique way to make his songs come to life.
