Anyone heard of Justin King?

This is the place to discuss music-related topics by "other artists". No Gordon Giltrap connections needed. Who have you seen? Who do you like? Who should we know about?

Anyone heard of Justin King?

I hadn't when I found this chap on YouTube the other night.

If you haven't either, have a look at this clip first. It's a good pop song, but not particularly special...until the guitar solo :)

Then look at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wf5n0VyZwWY
and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRRF_M2T-vY

He certainly has an impressive technique! Maybe this post ought to have been in the Anorak's section.

A complete stranger to me Steve, but very impressive (although the bloke standing at the back of the "Knock On Wood" clip, doesn't look too enamoured). Doesn't Gordon sometimes employ a similar technique?

Hi Steve ive just posted on the forum today , i told Gordon about Justin King last year and sent him a cd , he is quite extraordinary , and his album is excellent , go on youtube and put in Andy McKee and go to his video called Rylynn , the video where he is sat down not the live one. Very much like Justin King only he seems a little more fluent , there are several videos all excellent
