Resizing photos...

Postby Trevor Raggatt » Mon Jun 02, 2014 11:49 am

Sue,

Is there a way to resize photos using the [img] command. I added a photo just now but it is a monster. Would like to shring it's width down to more manageable proportions.

Thanks

Trevor

Hi Trevor,

sorry sent you a PM before I saw this posting.

I've saved the image to Flickr in a smaller size and changed the URL on your post - now much smaller.

cheers

Sue,

Thanks for changing the image size. Do you know if there is a commandos the forum version of HMTL. I know that there is in proper HTML <img src="next.jpg" width="300" height="200" /> but it would be really useful for posting stuff from third party websites where you can't control image size (without having to save it somewhere else first...).

Thanks Trevor,

that's going to be really helpful to me and everyone else.

I must admit that although I assumed there probably was an easy way to resize directly on the forum I never got around to looking it up to be sure,
