Pierre Bensusan

Postby Johnty8 » Thu Oct 22, 2015 10:11 am

Pierre Bensusan last night at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall played a programme of grace and passion to brighten the cold October air.

This wonderful artist brings his roots to the fore in every note he plays and is a lesson to behold for the thousand notes a minute brigade.

Pierre and Doatea remembered happy times spent with Gordon and Hilary on the Isle of Man and send their best wishes to all.

I am learning Michael Hedges' Bensusan at the moment, his tribute to Pierre. When Hedges died Bensusan wrote a piece called So Long Michael as a tribute in return. PB is a tremendous guitarist and has quite a varied repertoire.
