Hello,
What about a silent movie (new, but made from an original old footage) with music composed especially for it? Sounds like a great combination, and when the composer plays it live at a cinema it is also a great experience. The film title is "The flood" (director Bill Morrison) and shows the Great Mississippi Flood of 1927. The music was composed by Bill Frisell and performed live yesterday in Wrocław by the following musicians: Bill Frisell (electric guitar), Ron Miles (trumpet) Tony Scherr (bass and guitar) and Kenny Wollesen (drums and vibraphone).
Cheers,
Piotr

Re: Bill Frisell
All these guys are seriously great players. I only know of Bill through his reputation in the jazz world.
Anyway all that aside,it's great to hear from you my friend and trust that you and your lovely lady are well.
Best.
