On Thursday 9th August Gordon played at the Great British Beer Festival. opening the second set with a solo version of Dod's Dream. First question does this version appear on any album. Second question he used some form of loop effect, what is it and waht othe effects were used ?

Hello Philip.

There will be a brand new live GG album featuring TWO live versions of Dodo's Dream, out any day now, so look out for it on this very site!

The effects I was using for the piece was a Boss Loop station and a humble Boss ME 50 FX processor with just the inbuilt sounds in the unit. Overdrive. Ping Pong delays. Octave pedal. Backwards delay effect for the string/choral sound, and that was it.
