There must be something about this forum. Like Colin F a couple of months ago I have won something! Acoustic magazine ran a competition to win a Larrivee guitar and I entered it back in March and promptly forgot all about it. I had a phone call on Friday to tell me I had won! The editor of the magazine asked me for a few words for the next edition, although I was so gobsmacked I could barely remember my name!
I don't actually have it yet, and it remains to be seen if my average (on a good day) proficiency can do it justice.
I have never won anything before, so if I continue at this rate I should be a winner again in about 47 years!
