Anybody tried the Radial Tonebone PZ-Pre and compared it to the Award-Session GG-10 (AP-10)?

Funny you should ask, but I had my first experience of one about a week ago. It is a fantastic piece of kit! You can definately set it up to reproduce the true acoustic sound of the instrument you are using (subject to pick-up) and it is truly transparent. Trouble is, it is too complicated for stage use. I can get the sound I want from any acoustic source via a GG10 in a few seconds - with the Tonebone it takes several minutes. My verdict...Tonebone for the studio, but you need far better ears than mine to find something better than a GG10 for live use.
