Hot tip!!!!

Ok, ok, so maybe not THAT hot! How many of you have been gravitating in Gordon's direction and bought Tele or Tele replica recently? How many of you have been disappointed by the sound you've got out of it? Yep, they pretty well all play well, but boy, do they sound bad when you plug them into the average 30 watt 'tranny' combo! Too muddy from the neck pick-up and too much like a coil tappped 'bucker' on steroids from the bridge.
Solution?......Well, a help at least. Use your amp on it's clean channel and buy a Behringer 'Tube Overdrive' pedal. It does what it says on the tin. At 'full beans' setting it sounds like an overdriven class A tube amp and at low levels it.. well, it makes your Tele sound like Tele.. which can best be described as a box full of snappy springs......nice!
I bought mine for £15.00 so it's well worth a go!
