Apologies from Rog

Postby Em » Tue May 13, 2014 9:10 pm

Just a quick message to say please excuse Rog if he is absent from the forum for a while. Bit of a health scare. Hopefully all will be well, but he sends his apologies if he isn't able to make his normal level of forum contribution over the next week or so. Says he will miss you all and will be back to annoy you all soon!! Hope all his forum friends out there join me in wishing him a speedy recovery. If you read this Rog - loads of love from me and you WILL be better soon!!!

In the circumstances I hardly think that any apology is neccesary.

We wish you a full and speedy recovery Roger - you are in our thoughts and prayers.

And the same from Hilary and I.

Good health as we all know is a blessing and something none of us I'm sure take for granted.

Look after yourself Rog.

Love to you both.

Many thanks to everyone for their concern and best wishes. The worrying few hours of Tuesday morning seem like a long time ago and I'm now resting while watching Inspector Montalbano DVDs and having a gentle strum on my Cort X2 (through the Zoom G2 - haven't lost my "anorakness" :) ). Still feel a bit weak and wobbly, but a lot of that is due to the medication I'm taking - I'm counting the minutes until I don't have to take any more tablets :) . Hopefully all should be pretty much back to normal next week.

Thanks again and of course special thanks to Em for looking after me

Roger

Just like to say a big THANK YOU to Geoff Peters and Gary Burnett for dedicating the excellent "Ravens will Fly Away" to me on their radio show tonight - nice one guys :D
