Hi Gordon, Not had the opportunity to contribute to he Forum for a while, but that doesn't mean that the Smiling One and I have forsaken you. We are thinking of you especially today as another number clicks around on your odometer of life. We extend heartfelt good wishes for a very happy birthday an...

Hi Roger & Em, When you think you are just getting on with life and doing what needs to be done, it is only too easy to find that you are pushing yourself too hard. Nature has its ways of telling you to slow down and reflect upon what is most important and it is wise to heed the message. Greetin...

Mitchell Centre - 17 / 7 / 2016
Sunday 17th July 2016 – the weather was perfect – just as it was exactly 34 years previously when my beloved Smiling One and I had shared our nuptials before a congregation of family and friends. Our celebratory weekend was to conclude with our support of a certain guitarist of our acquaintance at a...

Happy Birthday, Gordon
Hello Gordon,
Fiona & I extend our very best wishes to you on your birthday.
Have a wonderful day with lots of prezzies but don't have too much jelly and cake.
Trust that all is well - take care and, as ever, may your candle of life burn slowly.

Hi Sue,
When will your recording be released onto an unsuspecting world? Are you aiming for a Christmas number one?
I've been past the studio many times in my professional capacity, pointing the place out to my passengers, but to go in AND record - WOW.
Top day out
K xx

Gedling - 24 /10 / 2015
The village of Gedling - formerly known as the centre of a coal-mining region - was long ago subsumed into the rather more metropolitan Greater Nottingham. The local colliery was transformed into a country park in the early nineties. All Hallows church commands a prominent position – this large and ...

Re: Dodo's Dream
Easy one, Roger, Some years ago my Beloved and I were traveling on a quiet, dark country road (can't remember our destination now - but it could have been a GG gig in the vicinity of Coventry). On the car stereo was my latest acquisition - Gordon's 'As It Happens" - and up came the bonus track ...

Hinckley ACT - 31 / 7 / 2015
As I drove alone towards Corby on a dark, clear night- a full moon seeming to match my progress – I reflected that perhaps this lunar influence was contributing to my elated state. The conclusion was that it was more likely that I was closer to home and my Beloved as each minute passed; and that att...
