Many congratulations Nick. Heartsong is a great piece of music and I'm sure Gordon will be thrilled you selected it for your wedding!

New Arrival

On June 1st, I became a father for the second time, when my wife gave birth to a beautiful girl. We have named her Lois Anya and she weighed in at 7lb 11oz. Needless to say, I haven't stopped smiling. Here is a photo of Lois, aged 1.5 hrs. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a360/hobosbe/P1020779.jpg

Hobo/Bob, Sorry that neither of you can make it to the GBBF 2007. When Gordon played at the festival in 2005 it really was a great day in every respect. Never mind, I'll have a half for both of you! Bob, If the Andover gig had been on Saturday we would both have been there, but unfortunately tomorr...

A complete stranger to me Steve, but very impressive (although the bloke standing at the back of the "Knock On Wood" clip, doesn't look too enamoured). Doesn't Gordon sometimes employ a similar technique?

Hello Gordon, Are you able to give us any news regarding reforming the band for another tour? The '78 line up was superb and I'm sure there would be a lot of support for such a venture. I understand these tours are costly and can be logistical headaches, but I for one would be willing to part with m...

Just out of interest Gordon, how is your itinerary worked out? Who sources the venues, books the gigs etc.? Any backgr...

Any chance of locating one of these comfortable venues near Gatwick Gordon? My wife and I would like to see you perform again soon, but family commitments mean we can't venture too far from home.

Cheers,

Mick

Re: VXT

Ummm...I think it looks like an overweight Peavey Wolfgang! $1400 in the States will mean almost £1400 (before discounts) over here if Gibson and Fender prices are any thing to go by. For that kind of money you can buy a decent, proper and possibly hand made, acoustic or a good mass produced one an...

Re: Gordon Giltrap Band

If I read it correctly there is a possibility of getting the band back together next year. Well, i can guarantee a couple of ticket sales here if you do. GG and the band at Newcastle City Hall back in 1978 or 79 for the Perilous Journey tour was one of the first gigs i ever went to and it is still ...
