Re: Finding a good guitar tutor?
What are you looking for exactly ? Do you just want to learn to play songs you like, or all the theory ?What didn’t work with the tutors you had before? I have been playing since 1983 and I am just about reasonable, Pub Covers Band level. I have very little natural talent and cannot compose. I had l...

Re: Ovation Celebrity
Can anyone help?
Tried YouTube, Google searches etc..
I need to get it sorted as it is well pronounced.
Have a couple of electrics but I do love to play
my Ovations, the first guitar I ever played was
an Ovation owned by our very own Mr. G....
Thanks.

Ovation Celebrity
Hi, I have two Ovation Celebrity semi acoustics which I bought second hand. I lowered the bridge on both as the action was sky high with great results. Now ten years later, I have an issue with the intonation but only on the E and A on both guitars, being the fretted 12th note is a quarter/fifth ton...

Re: Black Crowes
Thanks Sue,
No, of course I would never put up a link to
anything of that nature, but links can be
linked to stuff that we did not intend.
I'll just stick to a description of it. Safer
that way.
Cheers!!

Re: Black Crowes
This week I am listening to Jamiroquai.
From the concert Viña 2018 in Columbia.
It is on YouTube. I would put the link but
I am not sure if that is allowed on here.
Check the track "Don't give hate a chance"
Minimal guitar but a phenomenal bass
player.

Re: Musical tastes are personal and varied
I think everyone has a certain style or type of music that we will always listen to or go back to, for me it is decent hard rock/metal/blues but I will really listen to anything. I believe that music is just a way of communication, and if it does that, then it has succeeded, whether that be musicall...

Re: When / where did you first see Gordon play?
I first heard Gordon in 1982 or 1983 when he became my guitar teacher when I was 13 or 14 at school. I had no idea who he was or what he had done apart from my foster mother banging on about the Holiday program theme track. I then bought the live album at the time and played it to death. My tastes i...
