There was 1 special I did that was about an hour and a bit long.... I think it was the previous one to this special. I'll have to find it and dig it out and put a link up on here.

Re: Tom McCauley's Gordon Giltrap Show
Tom, What a cracking listen! Great selection of tracks too. Awakenings/Robes & Growns - Appalachial Dreaming - On Camber Sands - Heartsong - Is This The Last Song I Write... nice! Of course, it got me musing too on how I might boilsome of my fave Giltrap moments down to a half hour radio show. ...

Paul Daniels
Hi everyone.
A bit of a sad day today.
When I was getting myself ready for college this morning, I found out that the magician Paul Daniels has passed away at the age of 77 after being diagnosed with a brain tumour earlier this year.

Tom McCauley's Gordon Giltrap Show
I've been suggested that I do another show about Gordon's music! So I took that into consideration. Thanks to those who suggested the idea! I'll have the show up within the next hour!
Look out for it!! I hope you like the pieces I've selected

Re: 40th anniversary of the Visionary
Visionary, PJ and FoTD are all remarkable albums in my opinion and stand shoulder to shoulder with anything else recorded in the 70s or any other time for that matter. Whether the music is stripped down to the basics ie Gordon alone on an acoustic guitar, or given the full band treatment, the compo...

Re: Keith Emerson
I just saw this in the news - it seems like sad circumstances. He was one of my main Prog Rock heroes from the 70s, when Trilogy, Brain Salad Surgery and Works Vol 1 were amongst my favourite albums. Coincidentally I was just playing some ELP to my son Ethan on Thursday to introduce him to some of ...

Keith Emerson
My word that's two legends gone within the space of a few days.
It is with devastation that I have to say that Keith Emerson (part of ELP) has died at the age of 71.

Hi there Gordon.
Hope you're well.
I have many of your albums which I enjoy. I'll have to look out of the reissues!

Re: 40th anniversary of the Visionary
Hi Piotr,
I could do but I haven't got much of the Visionary album. The only track I have is Lucifers Cage.
However, I will look into it!
Thanks for the suggestion
Cheers,
Tom
