Re: Admira Avila Spanish classical guitar
This was a long time ago, but if you're still interested we have two of these. My eldest lad had one before he got a luthier made instrument and I also got one for my youngest lad. They are very nice instruments and sound beautiful with decent strings. They can't match the volume of the luthier made...

Re: Simon and Patrick 12 String
Thanks guys.
I bought the guitar. It has the odd ding but plays beautifully. It will sound amazing when I get new strings on it I think (I left the last set of strings I bought on the Norman).
My lad (who will be the main user) really likes it too.

Simon and Patrick 12 String
I bought a Norman B20 12 string a few weeks go but got a refund (the bridge was lifting and the action was so high it was unplayable). There was also a crack at the base of the guitar. I have a chance of a second hand Simon & Patrick 12 string. Does anyone know if they are any good? I am just lo...

Re: How to string a Norman B20?
I know this is an old thread but I just bought a second hand Norman B20 12 string too.
I tried to find the 11-52s that Gordon recommended but couldn't find them so I got 10-47 instead.
Hopefully these will be OK for the guitar too.

Re: Dave Leighton -- new member
Thanks for the warm welcome guys.
I found an old thread on this site from a few years ago where Gordon recommended Martin strings for the Norman B20 12 string we just bought so I've got some of those in the first instance.

I saw Gordon with my girlfriend (now missus) years ago at Bradford Uni, and then again last year at the Junction in Goole with Oliver (?) Wakeman. Gordon was kind enough to chat with us after the concert. I have several of Gordon's albums of course! I live in Yorkshire and have three lads. I play gu...
