GORDON GILTRAP & FRIENDS

Join one of the most revered guitarists of his generation, Gordon Giltrap, as he celebrates a career
spanning across 60 years.

This special concert will feature very special guest appearances from some of Gordon’s friends and contemporaries in what promises to be a night full of incredible music and memories.

Gordon tells us: "Guests announced so far on this special evening are Ric Sanders of Fairport Convention, Tom Leary from Feast of Fiddles, Award winning film composer and brilliant guitarist Nicholas Hooper, Carrie Martin, Suzy Wall, Raymond Burley and many more.

That wonderful musician Dave Bainbridge will be my musical director.

The night will be a wonderful mixture of solo material, duo material and band material taken from some of my early classic albums."

Over six decades, Gordon Giltrap MBE has graced the music business with his dedication to his craft and his affection for his audience. As one of the UK's most respected guitarists, he has consistently proved the adage that respect cannot be bought. It must be earned.

This innovative guitarist is back out on the road performing many of his incredible songs with incredible arrangements in what promises to be an electrifying solo acoustic show. Expect to hear classics such as Heartsong and Lucifer’s Cage alongside other favourites from his impressive back catalogue.

A show guaranteed to enthrall guitar aficionados, acoustic enthusiasts and music lovers in general, don’t miss the chance to see one of the UK’s most important and influential guitarists in action.
