The Village Hall in the quiet hamlet of Water Yeat is in the Crake Valley, a few minutes from the foot of Coniston Water. It is a traditionally-built wooden building but well-insulated.  The heating is very efficient and makes for a warm environment.  The hall is well-maintained and was redecorated in 2010.  The hall is fully accessible for wheelchair-users.  

The hall consists of a main room, a kitchen and toilets.  The main room seats up to 70 people in theatre arrangement and about 50 in cabaret style on comfortable upholstered chairs.  The 15 tables accommodate 4 people.  

Lighting is provided for performances and a sound system is available by arrangement.  The Hall holds a PRS licence for the performance of music.  Parking for the hall is along the quiet roads nearby.
