A National Trust Property, Kings Lynn Arts Centre stages a wide range of performances, exhibitions, education and community activities. The auditorium seats an audience of 349.
The Arts Centre is an intimate venue hosting a wide programme of comedy, drama, music, dance, cinema, and visual arts. Housed in the 15th century Guildhall of St George, one of England's oldest surviving Guildhalls, the Centre brings this historic building to life with its varied range of presentations in the main auditorium.
The Guildhall of St. George is an ancient building, with its present day frontage onto King Street, within a few yards of the Tuesday Market Place it can be easily be passed unnoticed by those who are unaware of its origins and historic interest. Just behind the brick façade stands the largest and oldest medieval building of its kind in England.
