Dodo's Dream

Postby James » Wed Apr 04, 2012 9:27 pm

Hi Gordon,

Don't know if you remember me but had a chat to you at The Great British Guitar Show before your fantastic set. I was telling you about how I'd done The Dodo's Dream for my GCSE Music Performance piece.

Well I've finally got round to recording it, and here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4dNQQvc ... tube_gdata . I hope you like my attempt, give it a watch :)

I love playing this piece because it's so expressive and has so many different parts. When it all comes together, it's magical. Good work, keep it up, no doubt I'll see you when you're next playing local to me, as I always enjoy your shows.

Thanks,

James

Hi James.

Loved your version of Dodo, you did really well.

This isn't an easy piece at the best of times.

I liked the sweet tone you got from that guitar of yours.

Yes, I do remember meeting you and be thrilled that you used Dodo as an exam piece?

Thanks for the link. I'm certain others will enjoy viewing it also.

Be Well and keep up the good work sir.

G.
