Hi Trevor,
You might like to re-read the forum News page for December 2012.
Florashell Needlecrafts is none other than my better half, Fiona. Thanks for the plug and the link.
Best regards
Keith

Hilary and I are proud owners of this amazing cross stitch art.We paid a lovely lady to do the work, which took her hours and hours to do but worth every penny.
How humbling to see ones self in cross stitch!
Be well all.

Aaah, Keith... I'd not spotted that. Hadn't remembered seeing that in the news at all. I wondered what thought process led to the company finding that image to offer as a kit for budding cross stitchers. It now becomes obvious, of course.
You're right Gordon, it certainly does look lovely. My better half has done enough cross stitch in her time to know just how hard it would have been to have crafted that picture and to have retained the look and feel of Sue's watercolour. No mean feat. Nice one Fiona!!!
