Ravens and Lullabies Best Moments

Postby Roger » Thu Aug 01, 2013 11:28 pm

Hopefully since it's release we've all had time to play R&L over and over again. I'd like to start a thread about our favourite musical magic/special moments on the CD, of which there are many for me :D

I'll start the ball rolling by naming my favourite moment as 8:16 to 8:50 on "Is this the Last Song I Write?" - brilliant soloing by Gordon and very robust playing from Johanne James too.

I'll be doing a bit of arm twisting (although I don't think it should take too much!) to get Geoff and Gary to play this track as their "long song" on their Sunday night show soon!

Best to all,

Roger

It is true - over and over again :-). In fact the whole album is one great moment. Speaking of real moments, one of them is the start of "Moneyfacturing". "Is this the last song I write" is pure magic.
All the best,
Piotr
