I heard Newton Faulkner's latest single on Radio 1 the other week and for a brief moment I thought it was Gordon Giltrap. Then of course he started singing and I realised it was Newton Faulkner xD
Excellent player though.

After winding through the Essex countryside in the dark for nearly an hour, passing many litle villages, filled with plenty of 'Are you sure we're going the right way?'s, 'where are we now?'s, 'why do we have to go around the fields?' and 'Dad, you missed the turning's we arrived at the High Barn in...

No problem Russ :) I hope they carry on playing the same style of music, its good to hear something different. I hope the band get the opportunity to watch other local unsigned bands. It's always handy to look at other bands and see whats working for them and what isn't. A blues rock band I love the...

Haha, I like the way the Why Guitars Are Better Than Men list is far far longer.

My guitar used to wake me up in the middle of the night for no reason. That got fixed when I bought a stand though.

Ewan sounds incredibly talented. I especially like The Fires Of Frustration and He Was Waiting For No-One. Fires of frustration reminds me of Iron Maiden, it's become my myspace profile song now. The youtube video... It sounds fake, but it looks genuine. :S But I find it completely baffling. He must...

Oooh it looks great! I wish my dad's 'projects' were just as interesting. It sounds lovely aswell, The Blues Machine are sounding great so far. I'm incredibly impressed since they're all quite young. They could easily rock the pants off one band I saw a few weeks ago. Decent music but terrible whini...

Wow, that sounds great! It's good to hear they're not going to be another post whatever something coreband. I like to go watch unsigned bands and I find that a lot of them sound the same. There's always the odd band that will stand out because they're different, hopefully 'The Blues Machine' (awesom...

First electric...

My parents surprised me with my first electric guitar this christmas, a Tanglewood FST32K (for some reason its listed as a FST32R on the tanglewood website, even though in the picture you can make out the 'k'...) and a tiny Hiwatt 8 watt Spitfire amp. I did mention that the amp doesn't go up to 11. ...

Guess it was your lucky day! I found a gorgeous Tanglewood acoustic in a guitar shop (obviously) today, nicest one I've seen lately, didn't get a chance to play it though which was shame. I'm itching to get my hands on a new acoustic (I can't be bothered to get an electric, too much money and too he...

Hey Mark,
If you create an account on http://www.putfile.com you can upload mp3s (or videos and photos) and then you can copy a URL which links directly to each mp3 you upload.

Thank you! I've been trying to split the tracks up using the times, however there just doesn't seem to be a suitable point to split the tracks up. I think I missed out the end of one track so I've decided it's just best to start all over again. I'm getting to frustrated trying to make sense of all t...

Track length on Visionary LP?

I just finished recording both sides of Visionary, however, when I look at the list of recordings I appear to only have 9 seperate recordings. Somewhere along the line I forgot to stop and restart recording and as a result some tracks are joined together. I'm having a bit of difficulty splitting up ...

Tangerine Dream are never far away from the top of my listening pile. My interest in them started in 1974 and it has never waned. They are responsible from my love of electronic/ambient music and I regularly listen to artists such as Rudy Adrian, Ron Boots, Gert Emmens, VoLt, Bruno Sanfilippo, Haro...
